3 Game Winning Streak

The Celtics have now won 3 in a row and all 3 games with Paul Pierce back in the lineup. Not a coincidence, folks. Even given they played the Wizards twice and the Pistons, the Celtics still won all 3 games (unlike losing to the Hornets without Pierce). Looking deeper, though, the Celtics did not dominate any of those games like they have in the past. Outside of the emotional lift they received from Pierce in that game in Boston vs the Pistons in his return, the Celtics have allowed the opposing team to stay in the game, never really pulling away. This could pose issues with teams that have legit playoff teams. I don't think anyone expects to see Detroit or Washington in the field of 16 come April. Interesting to note here, according to hoopdata.com, the Celtics only made 53.9% of their shots at the rim. Uncharacteristic of this Celtic team.
